The plot of this movie is set in the year 1983 in New Mexico. The movie focuses on a 12 year old bullied and lonely boy Owen who feels neglected amidst his divorcing parents. That is when he befriends his neighbor who is a girl named Abby recently shifted there. But it turns out that Abby is a child vampire.

With horror and suspense the movie shows unusual friendship between a human and vampire too. A great flick to watch for the love of supernatural vampire movies.

2. He Never Died (2015)

A Canadian-American venture of great plot twists and unusual mix and match of comedic horror makes it a must watch and surely one of the best vampire movies too. He Never Died is written and directed by Jason Krawczyk and stars Henry Rollins, Booboo Stewart, Steven Ogg and others in it.

The movie’s main character is Jack played by Henry Rollins who is an immortal as well as Cannibalistic too but in order to protect himself and the society he has turned into a loner.

You cannot call the movie to be exactly a vampire one but of course the main protagonist drinks blood and stays away from people kind of make it clear though. The movie is set on the incident where Jack’s daughter from his ex-girlfriend is kidnapped and he needs to save her.

He Never Died is surely one great flick amongst the other vampire movies on Netflix. Although involves some graphic content, make sure you are not a faint heart to watch these scenes.

3. My Babysitter’s a Vampire (2010)

My Babysitter’s a Vampire is a Canadian movie which is the next pick in the category of vampire movies on Netflix. It is directed by Bruce McDonald and stars Vanessa Morgan and Matthew Knight in the lead roles.

So, the movie stars from a couple hiring a babysitter for their daughter Jane as they do not believe in their older son Ethan to care for her.

However, the girl named Erica ditches it for a party and her best friend Sarah instead attends Jane. But it turn out that Sarah is a vampire and so is Jesse whose party is Erica attending. As soon as they realize Erica is in trouble, Sarah, Ethan and Ethan’s friend Benny sets out on a mission to save her.

Well, there are so many funny sequences in the movie but horror too. I am sure this will turn out to be a great entertainer for you all.

4. Night Watch (2004)

Night Watch is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and loosely inspired from the novel The Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko. The movie also has a sequel called Day Watch.

The movie starts from a prologue set in the medieval times where there are two forces of lightness and darkness. And this particular movie is about force of lightness who watches the other one in Night Watch. In the present scenario the movie is about a man named Anton who is a vampire and member of night watch too.

I really found the movie super entertaining and interesting with secrets unfolding every minute. It makes the perfect entry into vampire movies on Netflix.

5. Stake Land (2010)

The next one in this list of vampire movies on Netflix is Stake Land which is an American vampire movie. Stake Land is directed by Jim Mickle and stars Nick Damici in the lead role. Stake Land is a movie which could not earn that big on box office but surely won praises from critics.

The plot talks about a pandemic vampirism striking America where blood sucking vampires are leaving cities and villages into a graveyard.

Amongst this a vampire hunter called Mister saves a young boy, Martin. Now, Mister and Martin sets out on a journey to find a place called New Eden in order to be safe from this vampire plague. They are accompanied by various people and troubles in this journey which makes the movie brutal sometimes.

However, the continuous pace of the movie keeps it interesting which entertains the audience throughout too. I am sure if you love vampire movies so much, Stake Land series is going to be your favorite.

6. Byzantium (2012)

ByzantiumFor the love to download movies online, you can choose Byzantium for it. This is an Irish horror movie directed by Neil Jordan. The movie stars Gemma Arterton, Jonny Lee Miller and Saoirse Ronan in the pivotal roles in it.

Although, the movie could not earn well on the box office, it earned great praises though and got mixed to positive reviews from various people.

The plot is set in the year 2010 and focuses on a teenage vampire Eleanor Webb and her mother Clara. Both of them are hiding from other vampires and moves to a new town to start a new life. However, Eleanor writes her story to her friend in college Frank and the movie is shown in the flash backs then.

The story is a bit of twisted in various plot surprises and flashback scenes but somehow manages to outshine in terms of vampire existence. Not so bad to be picked up as one of the vampire movies on Netflix to watch this weekend.

7. The Transfiguration (2016)

The TransfigurationThe Transfiguration is a popular American horror drama movie directed by Michael O’Shea. The movie stars Eric Ruffin in the lead role of Milo. This is kind of a suspensive movie which has a lot of suspense and thrilling sequences in it.

The movie is worth being included in the list of vampire movies on Netflix which focuses on an orphan teenager Milo and the dangerous neighborhood he lives in.

You cannot call this movie to be exactly that of vampire one but surely it has scenes and graphic content which will let you know that why I listed it here in this category. Milo is highly inspired and affected with vampires and he starts to randomly kill people to drink their blood.

On this dangerous path he meets another depressed teenager Sophie and they become friends and continue their crazy adventures together. A psychological thriller and surely vampire theme makes it quite horrifying and a chill surely runs down your spine while watching it.

8. The Monster Squad (1987)

The Monster Squad features all the Universal monsters re-imagines who are led by Count Dracula. They need to fight some savvy kids who are not going to let them rule the world.

The movie shows The Monster Squad being a club of pre-teenagers who get the diary of Ven Helsing and they find out that once in every century all the forces of good and bad reaches balance and the amulet becomes vulnerable. The movie proceeds with Count Dracula trying to find this amulet to rule the world.

Now, these kids must fight with these monsters to save everyone. With so many funny and comic scenes, the movie is the most entertaining amongst all the vampire movies on Netflix and considered a cult classic.

9. Underworld (2003)

This action horror movie is directed by Len Wiseman and stars Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman and other actors in the important roles.

This is even my favorite movie and it focuses on the secret world of vampires and werewolves. The main character of this story is Selene who is a death hunter and kills lycans (werewolves). However, she falls for a human Michael who gets bitten by Lycans. Now she needs to make a decision to kill him or go against her tribe.

The movie was a tremendous success on box office and turned out to be quite interesting and involving too.

10. Daybreakers (2009)

DaybreakersAs you consider Marvel Movies to be the most amazing superhero flicks, you can consider Daybreakers to be somewhat like it. This is an Australian-American science fiction horror movie directed by The Spierig Brothers.

The plot of this movie is set in the year 2019 which is a futuristic world rules by vampires where the need for blood has become desperate.

Amongst this, a laboratory is running research on remaining humans and finding the blood alternative for the vampires by Edward Dalton. But now humans led by Elvis claims to have a cure which can save the humans from vampires.

Daybreakers is one of the most intriguing vampire movies on Netflix which did well on box office too. I am sure you can find more such movies on Netflix.

Conclusion

I personally like this very category and genre of vampire movies quite engaging and captivating. I don’t know whether vampire exists for real or not but it does sound a great idea to discover one.
