Doctor Strange is the story of a popular neurosurgeon Stephen Strange who loses the ability to do operation after his hand being dysfunctional. He discovers about a mythical place in Nepal which can heal it and under the supervision of their chief, The Ancient One he learns about physics and magic like never before.
From astral planes to parallel and mirror universe and even to being immortal, he learns about it all out there and little did he know that soon he is going to save the earth too.
2. The Dark Knight (2008)

No matter how much fame has Marvel attained throughout this time but I think for mass audience The Dark Knight remains to be one of the best superhero movies. And why it would not be? Batman is the only superhero who has got some swag like no others.
The Dark Knight is the second installment of this Batman based trilogy by director Christopher Nolan. Featuring amazing Christian Bale in the character of Batman, the movie made everyone go crazy for him.
As most people know the story, with numerous crimes taking place in Gotham City, Bruce Wayne aka Batman comes to save everyone. This time his fight is with The Joker who is the evil mastermind behind this all. Now, this is to be seen that how Batman defeats The Joker in this series.

The movie’s main character is Scott Lang which is against everyone’s expectations is not a great guy but a criminal and robber.
However, his life changes when he steals the shrinking suit of former S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist Hank Pym. The story starts then, from the intention of doing another bad deed to becoming a nationwide hero, this is the story of ant man which is portrayed in the movie perfectly.
I found the movie interesting and the main character very different from other superhero movies on Netflix. It is always good to see variations in superheroes and especially when they are belonging to Marvel.

The classic Marvel movie Avengers: Age of Ultron is the second installment of The Avengers series.
The movie surely deserves to be in the list of superhero movies on Netflix mainly because you are not going to see this many superheroes in a single flick.
The movie is directed by Joss Whedon and comprises of almost all the Marvel superheroes like Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America and some new names too. This time their enemy is Ultron who builds an army of robots to destroy humanity as he believes it is important to save Earth.

8. The Amazing Spider Man (2012)

So, now you would be wondering that who the villain is this time. Well, this is Doctor Curt Connors who used to work with his father and unfortunately now turned evil. Spiderman needs to fight with this Dr. cum mutated lizard who wants to spread this mutation to the rest of the world.
Our hero has his plan set but of course he gets some set back and then a huge push to save the world. This time with more powers and superb techniques, The Amazing Spiderman turns out to be one of the most entertaining superhero movies on Netflix.

This is the time to move over the traditional superheroes with amazing technology and who are fighting with high tech villains too. Blade II is a combined project of Marvel Studios with Amen Ra Films and Imaginary Forces.

The movie move forwards the plot of earlier installment of the Blade series and sees Wesley Snipes in the main character of Blade. Unlike other marvel heroes, Blade is a vampire but not the evil one of course. And this time he is there to save humans from a powerful mutated vampire.
The plot is kind of a cross between horror and superhero things but surely interesting and quite different from the traditional superhero movies.
10. Watchmen (2009)

As the list of superhero movies move forwards, the last one to enter it is Watchmen. Well, of course it’s not your home guard but rather the protectors of world. This time the movie belongs to DC comics and it is directed by Zack Snyder.
The movie is based on a dark and dystopian world which feature alternate history where America and Soviet Union are set amidst the cold war in 1985.
The superheroes in this movie are Dr. Manhattan, Laurie Jupiter, Daniel Dreigberg and Rorschach. But this time instead of saving others they are going to discover the death of their partner agent Edward Blake aka The Comedian.
The movie is quite suspensive as well as helps you to get over the Marvel effect for sure as it is quite different from the rest of the superhero movies on Netflix.
